AI assistant

Who writes your assistant's replies? You decide

The default is Kauthar's cloud engine (Google Gemini): fast, ready and included in your plan. If your business has its own policy or an account with OpenAI, Google or Anthropic, connect it and test a reply before you save.

The problem and the solution

The problem

Your business wants control over the provider that writes its replies

Some companies have a corporate account with an AI provider, a policy that dictates the provider, or want a specific model — and don't want a platform locked to one engine.

The solution with Kauthar

One card that shows the options and lets you test them

The “Who writes your assistant's replies?” card shows every option with its speed, quality, who pays and whether it counts against your reply allowance. Choose, paste your account key, click “Try it now” to see the reply and how long it took, then save.

What you gain

What your business gets

  • The built-in engine is always ready

Kauthar's cloud engine (Google Gemini) is the default: no setup, included in your plan, and if it can't be reached a backup engine replies immediately.

  • Your account with the provider you choose

OpenAI, or Anthropic, Google, DeepSeek and others with your own account, with your choice of version. The cost goes to your account with the provider directly, and the replies don't count against your plan's allowance.

  • Test before saving

Type a question in “Try it now” to see the reply and how long it took, or check the key; nothing is saved before the test succeeds.

  • Your key is encrypted

Your account key is stored encrypted and only its last 4 characters are shown after saving; delete it in one click to return to the built-in engine.

Three steps

How it works

Real examples

How your business uses it

  • Company

Has a corporate OpenAI account and a policy that requires it; connects it so replies are billed to its account, and returns to the built-in engine in one click if its balance runs out.

  • Store

Needs nothing: the built-in engine serves its customers within the plan, and fixed answers and buttons work in every case.

  • Training centre

Tries a specific version from another provider to compare reply quality on curriculum questions before adopting it.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do I need this feature?

No, it's optional. Kauthar's cloud engine (Google Gemini) is enough for customer service within your plan.

Do replies stop if my balance with the provider runs out?

No, the assistant automatically replies with the built-in AI and you get an alert, and it retries your account with every question.

On which plan can I connect my own account?

On the Business plan. On other plans the card appears locked with an upgrade button for the business owner or manager.

What is sent to the provider when writing a reply?

Only the customer's message, the conversation context and the parts of your information needed, whether the provider is Kauthar's cloud engine or your own account. Your files themselves stay in your knowledge base.

Do fixed answers and buttons work with any choice?

Yes, fixed answers, reply paths and the order calculator work instantly whoever writes the AI replies.
