The code arrives on WhatsApp, from your number and name
A cheaper alternative to SMS with higher delivery: your server calls POST /send, the code reaches the user on WhatsApp from your verified business number, and POST /verify checks it. Apps, keys and a test mode, a log of every message, and a prepaid wallet.
Your Kauthar account is free — no time limit, no credit card. Then turn on the services you need.

The problem and the solution
The problem
SMS is expensive and doesn't always arrive, and the user waits for the code
The SMS cost rises with every country, the delivery rate is unknown, and a late code makes the user abandon sign-up. Another provider means keys, logs and invoices far away from your platform.
The solution with Kauthar
One API, your own number, and everything in the Kauthar dashboard
Create an app, set the default message language and the sending number, and generate a test key then a live one. cURL, Node.js, PHP and Python examples ready to copy, signed delivery-status webhooks, and a “Kauthar OTP” screen showing today's sent codes, delivery rate, verification success and spend.
What you gain
What your business gets
From your number and verified name
The user sees your verified business name, and verification templates in Arabic, English and French are created on your number with the “Create / sync templates” button. Kauthar never sends to your customers from her numbers.
Built-in protection
Code length from 4 to 8, expiry, maximum verification attempts, a resend cooldown, a per-number hourly limit and a per-minute sending limit, allowed countries, allowed server IP addresses, and duplicate prevention with an Idempotency-Key.
A log of every message
Time, phone (partially hidden), app, status (sent, delivered, read, failed with the reason), verification, attempts, cost and refund, with search and filters.
A prepaid wallet
Secure card top-ups added as soon as they're confirmed, a free starting balance, a low-balance alert, and wallet transactions by type with Excel and print.
Three steps
How it works
01
Turn on “WhatsApp Business” and create an app with the message language and the sending number.
02
Generate a test key and try POST /send and POST /verify from the ready examples.
03
Generate the live key, top up the wallet, and follow the log and delivery rate.

How your business uses it
App or online store
Sign-in by phone number: the server calls /send, the code arrives on WhatsApp under the store's name, /verify checks it, and the verification success rate shows on the screen.
Software company
An app for each of its clients with its own keys, limits and allowed countries, and signed delivery webhooks reaching its server.
Education platform
A code in Arabic for students and in English for teachers from the same app through the lang field, and a code the platform generates itself and verifies with Kauthar.
For live codes, yes: they're sent from your business number only. You can create the app and try it in test mode before connecting, and the “If my number isn't ready, send from Kauthar's number” switch shows the message under the name “Kauthar” at the Kauthar-number rate.
What do I do if a key leaks?
Click “Revoke” next to it; requests using it are rejected immediately, then create a new key. A key is shown only once, when it's created.
Can I send a code I generated myself?
Yes, with the optional code field (4 to 15 letters or digits), and you can verify it with Kauthar too.
Does OTP need a subscription?
No, OTP codes don't need a subscription; you pay per message from the wallet, and the platform fee for your own number is shown on the page in your wallet's currency. The marketing-messages subscription is entirely separate.
What happens when the limits are exceeded?
The server returns 429 with Retry-After. The number must be international in E.164 format, and premium, shared-cost and VoIP numbers are rejected.
