Who writes the assistant's replies: the built-in engine or your own account
Choose who writes your assistant's replies: Kauthar's cloud engine (Google Gemini), included in your plan, or your own OpenAI or other provider account (Business plan), with an instant test before you save.
Vue d’ensemble#
The Who writes your assistant's replies? card in Assistant settings shows the available options as cards, each with its speed, quality, who pays, and whether replies count toward your monthly reply quota: Kauthar's cloud engine (Google Gemini) — the default, fast, ready with no setup and free with your plan; Connect your own OpenAI account; and Another provider, your account (Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek and more). The large model on our servers may also appear: it works without an account but is very slow. When you choose your own account you pick the provider and the version and paste Your account key, then try a question in Try it now to see the reply and how long it took before saving. The In use now badge shows the current option. Connecting your own account is available on the Business plan.

Pas à pas#
- In the Who writes your assistant's replies? card, choose Connect your own OpenAI account or Another provider, your account.
- For Another provider, your account, choose the provider, then the version from Choose the version.
- Paste Your account key (see the Where do I get the key? link).
- Type a question in Try it now and press Try (or Check the key) to see the reply before saving.
- Press Save; the In use now badge appears on your choice.

Do replies stop if my credit with the provider runs out?
No. The assistant automatically replies with the built-in AI, you get an alert, and she tries your account again with every new question.
Do I need this feature?
No, it is optional. Kauthar's cloud engine (Google Gemini) is enough for customer service within your plan.
