Code hooks: connect your own system to a WhatsApp number

A customer sends a code like BK-AB12CD on your number; Kauthar forwards it to your system with a secret signature and answers with whatever your system returns — to confirm a booking, a renewal or any operation.

Overview#

In Channels → WhatsApp tab → Code hooks card. You add a system: the code prefix (e.g. BK), the system's name as the customer knows it, the https receiving URL, the signature header name, the secret (stored encrypted) and an optional support e-mail. From then on, any message on any of your numbers holding a code with that prefix is POSTed to your system signed with HMAC-SHA256, and Kauthar replies to the customer with the text your system returns (200 + reply), or with a polite line in your system's name when it answers 404 (invalid) or 410 (expired). Any other answer = silence, and the message stays in front of you. All other messages go to the assistant as usual. Test sends a dummy code to check Kauthar reaches your system and that it accepts the signature; the latest codes are listed at the bottom (sender masked).

Who can use it
